Started in 1995, Wessex is a local company that offers qualifications within Dorset and part of Wiltshire. Assessors and tutors are situated in different geographical areas, close to their allocated learners.

The company prides itself on its friendly and flexible approach to its training, and with a team of experienced trainers and assessors, can offer a quality training service.

Our innovative approach to training and assessment gives complete flexibility when it comes to gaining nationally recognised qualifications with the assessment taking place, conveniently, in the workplace.  We can offer a service that is entirely focussed and tailored to personally suit specific training needs for employers and learners alike.

The learner can use the ‘e’ portfolio system which has vast amount of resources for developing knowledge or a paper-based approach can be offered for those who prefer that route.

Our Mission Statement

We are totally committed to the personal development of all those involved with the company, either as customers of our service or staff who provide those services.

By promoting excellence in the provision of training and assessment, we aim to be an exceptional company making a valuable contribution to the development of individuals, businesses and the wider community.

We ensure that all publications and literature on and off line, reflect the multi-cultural nature of our society.
